We studied how walls should perform in a tropical climate. Together with GNI Home Clay Plaster, we built an insulated stud wall using coconut fibre, with clay and lime plaster on both sides. Our aim was to let the wall breathe, allowing natural air exchange that most brick walls block. This simple system reduces heat entering the building and improves comfort. It is part of our ongoing work to promote low carbon construction in modern settings.
