In the heart of downtown Kuala Lumpur, where the city never seems to rest, the idea of play can be surprisingly simple. "Seeing as Playing" is a playground designed without traditional play equipment, instead offering a space where imagination leads the way. Here, everyday elements: a bench, a platform, a slope, can become anything: a place to climb, jump, walk, or even just pause and rest.
The design features a series of simple modules, arranged to encourage spontaneous interaction and creativity. These elements blend into the urban fabric, inviting people to explore them however they choose. The playground isn’t just a place for play; it’s a living space where the boundaries of play are constantly being redefined by those who use it.
