Commissioned by Perak New Village 2025, this public installation project at Palo 101, Ipoh celebrates the stories, memories and cultural identity of Perak’s new villages through a series of temporary pavilions and spatial interventions. The project comprises four key structures - Kampung Theatre, Indoor Photo Gallery, Seating Tower and Story Pavilion - designed and constructed collaboratively with local creatives, builders, craftsmen and material suppliers. Through reused timber, scaffolding systems, eco-printing fabrics and Perak-sourced clay plaster, the installations explore lightweight and adaptive approaches to public storytelling, gathering and cultural engagement.
